3 Ways to Style Your Favorite Fall Sweater + Jeans

A staple Fall sweater and a great pair of jeans are musts moving into the colder months of the year. While I love shopping, I REALLY love finding out different ways to style the same pieces. Here I paired my favorite Banana Republic tiered sweater from last season (similar sweater linked here!) and my Level 99 jeans with several different layers, accessories and shoes to show how you can get a lot of mileage out of basic staples to create fresh new looks!

LOOK #1: FAUX FUR + OPEN-TOE BOOTIES

This faux fur vest is SO soft and something I inherited from my Grammy. It was one of her favorite pieces and she was totally one of my style icons! I’m 5’9 and she was just over 5′ so I can’t believe some of her stuff fits me, but man did she have great taste (and a budget for some amazing pieces)! I love wearing it because not only is it stylish, it reminds me of her and her flare for never going understated.

These open-toe booties from BCBGeneration are one of my Fall Favorites! I got them at Nordstrom Rack for an amazing price. You can shop all outfit details here or at the bottom of this post!

LOOK #2: STATEMENT BAG

This bag is allll over the ‘gram, but even if it is #basic, I LOVE IT! I’ve always been a fan of animal print accents, and this is such an easy way to add some excitement to a simple outfit. This season I am really into clutches. Maybe its part of my commitment to downsizing and organization (I am currently a self-proclaimed clothes hoarder and working on cleansing my closet!). Everyone always jokes that I have a “Mary Poppins Bag” because I carry so much with me at all times…advil, water bottle, make-up, snacks, notepad, hairbrush, pens, highlighters, sunglasses, etc.  Useful? Sometimes. Excessive? Yes. Heavy? YES. Clutches have a way of forcing minimalism and I (and my back) need and appreciate that greatly!

OK back to my outfit… for this look I also threw on a pendent necklace and some of my favorite pointy-toe heels from Aldo. Here are some links for your shopping pleasure!

LOOK #3: All Grayed out

This variation may be my favorite! Here I paired a gray, fluffy jacket over my cream sweater (cuffing both at the wrists to add style). I love to pepper in texture whenever possible. It’s fun, cozy, and something unexpected.

For this outfit, I also added a statement necklace, black bag and favorite gray block heels to complete the look!

Girl you make we want your whole wardrobe! I love these takes on a simple sweater & denim. How sweet is it that you have such an amazing and truly vintage piece with that fur vest. I can just image how special it is to share some amazing style with your grandmother. I totally need to recreate the tucked sweater with rolled sleeves – it just looks so cozy!
