Jewel Tones + Mixed Textures

One trend I am loving this fall is jewel tones. We are seeing them in clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry. I can’t get enough of these rich colors and they are so easy to mix and match! This Free Press Blouse from Nordstrom Rack was a little out of my comfort zone (the bright emerald shade and the purposefully wrinkled silk-look made me a little weary), but I’m so glad I got it!

DETAILS:  GREEN SILK BLOUSE  ||  DISTRESSED DENIM JEANS   ||  CRUSHED VELVET BOOTS  ||  BLACK & GOLD BAG

This blouse can easily be worn with a pencil skirt for work, but here I styled it “funkier” with distressed Lucky Brand Denim and my FAVORITE Mia Girl booties. The color alone is gorgeous, but HELLO love the crushed velvet fabric and the affordable $20 price tag! The round toe gives the shoe an easy, “comfortable all day” fit (note: they run big for me so I actually sized down a whole size).

While I love them with jeans, you can definitely wear these booties with the pencil skirt option mentioned above or a sweater dress this Fall/Winter!

Rounding out the outfit I got this Jessica Simpson Bag last week and its become my everyday go-to! The details are just enough to feel styled, but not too much that they overwhelm a simple outfit if that’s the look you’re going for.  Click through the images below to shop this outfit or click here to shop more of my looks!

  1. Those booties girl – What an amazing price. How cute would these be with a full black outfit for date night! I love how a pair of shoes like these can totally transform a look.
